An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Operator/Vehicle Tracker within our busy Traffic Operations Office at Newmarket. This position would suit someone keen to take the first step in a career in the Logistics industry.

Shifts: Starting at 07:00 and 19:00. Shifts are based on 198 days per annum (182 days on 4 on / 4 off plus 16 contract days). 21.5 days holiday

Salary: Day shift £23500 - £27000 (+) D.O.E.

Start date: - As soon as possible

The key elements of the role will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring client queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Using our vehicle tracking systems and in-house traffic management system to monitor and record key aspects of collections and deliveries.
  • Being responsible for accurate data entry
  • Communication with drivers and customers to ensure good customer service
