Turners (Soham) Ltd are seeking to recruit an IT Trainee to be based at our Head Office in Newmarket.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Logging IT requests onto the Helpdesk system SupportWorks, and assigning to the appropriate team. Keeping all active calls updated with information received.
  • Liaising with our third party printer support company , and logging any reported faults as well as managing the toner deliveries
  • Manage the IT storeroom and stock situation.
  • Assist Analysts on the team when required.

The position is be full-time (40 hrs). The helpdesk is open 7:00am to 18:00, so flexibility within those hours is required.

This is a good opportunity for an organised person, keen to take their first step in a career in IT.

Full training will be provided. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT related products and services, so opportunities to learn on the job.
