Print Room Operative
Due to continued growth within our Packhouse at our Bicker depot we are now looking to recruit a skilled Print Room Operative.
Working within a small team you will have ideally have experience of working with a Packhouse/ Production environment in particular in a label printing capacity or be willing to learn all areas of the role.
Main Responsibilities and Skills
- Printing the required labels as directed by production requirements and internal processes
- Ensure all stages of work are checked against quality standards
- Carry out rigorous quality checks to ensure high-quality standards are always met, reporting any quality issues to management
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve the production/process
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Maintain excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards
- Ensure that you work to "Right First Time"
- Ensure label stock levels are maintained
- Comply with all relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail with a positive can do attitude to work. We are looking for someone who is adaptable to change and possess the ability to work under pressure as well as open to working in a busy Packhouse/Production area.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off or 4334 which will include 1 weekend day.
