Traffic Operator / Planner
Turners (Soham) Ltd, the UK’s largest privately owned transport company, is looking to recruit a Traffic Operator / Planner to be based at our Aldridge site. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the transport and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and organising daily transport operations effectively
- Managing day-one and day-two operations
- Communicating clearly and professionally with shipping lines, depots, drivers, and customers
- Ensuring all work is planned and executed efficiently
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Have a friendly, positive, and approachable personality
- Be flexible with working hours
- Be keen, motivated, and willing to learn new skills
- Have previous experience in logistics and/or container transport (preferred but not essential)
- Have experience with TOPS software (desirable but not essential)

45 hours per week
Monday to Friday
