The Great “Turners Bake off”...

The 2016 Turners “Bake Off” organised by Valerie Lebbon and Simon Smeeton celebrated their most successful “Final” in early October helping raise a massive £652.95 for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Entries came from the many Turners operations at Exning, no doubt spending many hours beating, folding, blending, icing and frosting their individual entries, with stunning results as seen below…

Thankfully the cakes did not go to waste and were purchased a slice (or two) at a time by the staff at Exning helping raise a very respectable £652.95 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We were delighted that Nicola Clark, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan was able to join us on the day.
