Russian Business delegation visits Turners

On October 16th Turners welcomed a group of Russian business leaders.

The visit arranged through our partnership with Cambridge University and The Judge Business School was part of their week in Cambridge to study for the equivalent of an MBA course.

 The delegates came from many business areas in and around Moscow and were fascinated to see the varied operations taking place on site including PPL (Picking and packaging) Traffic and planning along with the Cold store.

Their visit started with a talk by Paul Day explaining Turners history and sharing his approach to business. This explored a number of areas including Strategy and Aims, Leadership and Management Principles, Growth, and Evaluation of Risk and Reward.

We would like to thank the Judge Business School, who instead of paying for the ‘speaker’, made a sizable contribution towards the charity MIND.
