Turners have recently taken delivery of the 700th DAF FTP light weight 6x2 tractor unit. This has made Turners the largest worldwide DAF customer for this specialist model.

For many years this DAF specified tractor unit has helped Turners maximise payload within its Tank and weight sensitive operations.

The truck was supplied through East Anglian DAF dealer Chassis Cab Ltd who continue to compliment the excellent business partnership enjoyed between our two companies.

On October 16th Turners welcomed a group of Russian business leaders.

The visit arranged through our partnership with Cambridge University and The Judge Business School was part of their week in Cambridge to study for the equivalent of an MBA course.

Tracey Canham and staff at Newmarket have now topped over £3000 in charity donations with their weekly Bonus ball game. Since the beginning of 2016 over fourteen individual Charities have benefited from donations ranging from £100 to £250.

At the annual Turners “Bake off” competition, in partnership with The Macmillan Coffee and Cake morning, we celebrated a record number of entries and most importantly raised a record sum of money totalling £822.30.

The challenge set by our two renowned and unchanged Judges Mrs Day and Mary, was to produce the best Lemon Drizzle Cake or Six Cup Cakes. With a record number of entries the standards and quality were incredibly high.
