Turners Bake off raises over £900 for Macmillan Cancer Support
The annual Turners “Bake off” competition in partnership with The Macmillan coffee and cake morning raised a record braking £919.79.
This year staff from many areas of the business invested their time beating and blending to produce a magnificent collection of cakes for judging. Thank you to all in our Traffic Office and the weekly Bonus ball organisers for entries and fundraising.
Two categories were set by our esteemed judges Mrs Day and Mary who attended and had the task of tasting all entries in the “Chocolate Brownie and Banana Loaf” categories.
And the winners:
Banana Loaf – Fran Williams
Chocolate Brownies – Emma & Stephen Blackmore
2nd Overall – Jenny Burbridge
3rd Overall – Justyna Lipinska
